XII. SEASCAPES

In his own words, photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto feels a calming sense of security every time he looks out at sea. As vast and seemingly limitless as the sea is, there is a wondering sense of security it brings. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I long to sit by the ocean sometimes and just look out at the sea. It brings me comfort, I guess you could call it my comfort zone. For some it’s the added element of being alone and same could be said for me. There are times I need to walk away and be alone in order to be still for a moment. I long for those days where I am able to sit in the optimal environment – silence. Those days brings me closer towards inner peace we all strive for and through that, find true clarity that answers those tough questions that have been circling in the stratosphere that is the mind.

What do you do when you are in search for clarity?
